Since his origin form is stronger it is only logical that it would require a lot of energy.
This would explain why he was so tired after hatching and the limited transformation.

Every translation groups main problem NOT ENOUGH TRANSLATORS 
I don't know Japanese. I tried to translate using Google and Bing. But what they spit out made my head hurt  , like every one else who tried it. After several hours of fight, I finally understood 1 LMS chapter. But putting that back to sentences was  not possible.

The out come after several hours of fight:
Gained: NOTHING (At least understood one chapter).
Loss: Massive amount of Brain Cells.

So I have great respect for translators and especially machine translators who can make machine translated text into readable translations.

The armor is nice and all but the Helmet is superb. Especially the horns.
If Smoke went out to hunt, The players will hunt him.

They are dropping it for lack of motivated translators. There is a machine translator site trying to translate because Japtem were too slow for them. I was just being helpful to pass on the news to a group who I knew would care about Ark. Finding dedicated translators is the worst for any site like this. I bet you are swimming in proofreaders though.

Yes, we do have plenty of proofreaders. If only we had as much translators then we could probably pick up Ark.
