Title: Ordering translation?
Post by: Tuko on March 16, 2015, 08:37:27 am: When I was looking for translations of LMS I noticed some old posts on www.odesk.com ordering translation of LMS vol 22.
I looked into it "Korean to English translation" offers and found completed job - translation of 120 000 words for 1,200$. If one chapter of LMS has 5000 words, and one volume has 10 chapters then it would cost 500$ to get one volume translated or maybe someone would do this for less money.

I don't know how many people would like to pay to get LMS translated, and I don't know if there would be some legal issues, but maybe it's worth a thought - donations to get LMS translated.

it seems that this guy translated vol 22 for 18$ - it seems crazy, but still maybe it would be less expensive than 500$ per volume.

I have almost all of volume 23 translated. was wandering who to contact in order to post it here. And i think i will keep paying for it if the translator is wiling and i think he is.

That would be great, but I'm not too comfortable with putting a donation button on the site. I'll see if we could have one posted here instead or any better place.
